Saudi Arabia vowed on Monday that it will prosecute anyone convicted in the murder of citizen Jamal Khashoggi.
Bandar Al Aiban, President of the Human Rights Commission of Saudi Arabia, told the United Nations Human Rights Council that the Kingdom will investigate his death at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October in order to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Aiban headed the Saudi government delegation at a regular review of its record.
He added that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz had tasked the Public Prosecutor to investigate the Khashoggi case according to applicable laws in order to uncover all evidence and bring the criminals to justice.
All those involved in the crime will be punished, he stressed.
