Saudi Arabia participated in the meeting of the Group of 77 and China held at the level of representatives in New York on Friday.
The Kingdom's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Manzalawi represented his country to the meeting.
Saudi Arabia's participation comes due to its belief in the importance of multilateral international cooperation and the significant role being played by regional groups in influencing international decisions and promoting development, prosperity and progress of its member states.
