The Saudi sports ministry announced on Saturday it was suspending indefinitely events and activities throughout the Kingdom due to the corornavirus outbreak.
It has also closed sports centers and venues until further notice.
The decision will take effect on Sunday and affects all tournaments and championships.
The decision is part of the preventative measures aimed at combating the coronavirus and protecting the citizens and residents, stressed the health ministry.
