Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Monday the terrorist attack carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militias against a mosque in the al-Estiqbal military training camp in Yemen’s Marib last week.
The Foreign Ministry said the Houthis commit such acts to deliberately undermine the political process in Yemen.
The militias disregarded the sanctity of the place of worship and shed the blood of the Yemeni people, reflecting their disregard of religious sites and human life.
The Kingdom will continue to stand behind the Yemeni people and their country, said the statement.
More than a hundred people were killed in the attack, which was denounced by the legitimate Yemeni government, British ambassador and United Nations.
