Saudi Arabia Sends Aid to Algeria to Help it Cope With Forest Fires Effects

Saudi aid arrives in Algeria - SPA

Saudi Arabia has set up an air bridge to Algeria carrying urgent humanitarian aid to help the north African country alleviate the effects of deadly wildfires.

This came upon the directions of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz who vowed to help Algeria to combat the wildfires that have spread across the north of the country.

The plane carrying the Saudi aid departed King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday.

The aid, handled by the Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), includes food, shelters and medical supplies.
