The Saudi Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned a terrorist attack that targeted Erbil airport in Iraq’s Kurdish region late Wednesday.
In a statement issued Thursday, the Ministry said the attack threatens the stability of Iraq and the region, and the safety of aviation. This stems the efforts of the international coalition to help Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
The Ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s support for Iraq and its decisions to protect its security, saying Saudi Arabia rejects all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism.
