Saudi Arabia reported on Saturday 4,128 new coronavirus cases, taking the total to 205,929.

In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said 2,642 more people have recovered from disease, raising the total to 143,256.

It said 60,815 of the cases are active and 2,295 people are in critical condition, while 56 more fatalities have been confirmed.

The Ministry revealed that a young man failed to remain in isolation at home despite coming in contact with a confirmed coronavirus patient. He consequently spread the virus to nine of his friends, two of whom suffer from chronic health problems. One is now in critical condition.
