Saudi Arabia reported on Monday 3,943 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 186,436.
In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said 433 of the cases were reported in al-Hofuf, 363 in Riyadh, 357 in al-Dammam, 263 in the holy city of Makkah, 212 in Jeddah and 169 in Madinah.
Recoveries have reached 127,118 after 2,363 more people were declared virus-free.
Forty-eight more fatalities were registered, raising the toll to 1,599.
