Saudi Arabia registered on Saturday 3,121 new coronavirus cases, including 900 in the capital Riyadh, 572 in Jeddah and 279 in the holy city of Makkah.
The latest figures take to 98,869 the number of infections in the Kingdom.
A daily briefing on the outbreak revealed that 1,175 more people have recovered from the disease, taking the total to 71,791.
Thirty-four fatalities were reported, raising the toll to 676.
