Saudi Arabia announced 1,968 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the Kingdom’s total to 266,941.
Of the new cases, 11 percent were recorded in Hufof with the city reporting 208 cases. Taif reported 195 cases, Riyadh 126, Makkah 109 and Buraidah 77.
The total number of recoveries reached 220,323 after 2,541 more patients recovered from the COVID-19 disease, the Saudi Health Ministry said.
It also said that 30 more patients died from complications caused by the virus, which brought the death toll to 2,733.
