
Saudi Arabia registered on Tuesday 1,266 new coronavirus cases, 23 percent of whom where among Saudis and the rest were among non-nationals.
The latest figures bring to 20,077 the number of infections in the Kingdom, announced Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali during a daily press briefing on the outbreak.
The number of recoveries has reached 2,784, he added, while eight new fatalities have been reported. The death toll has risen to 152.
Abdelali urged the people to remain at home and avoid gatherings, stressing the need to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters while queuing.
