Saudi Arabia Reiterates its Commitment to Palestinian Cause

King Salman holds talks with Palestinian President Abbas in Riyadh. (SPA)

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Riyadh on Tuesday.

King Salman stressed the Kingdom’s constant commitment to Palestine and the rights of its people to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The two leaders also discussed the latest Palestinian developments.

Earlier, King Salman had thrown a luncheon banquet in honor of his guest and his accompanying delegation.

Abbas had arrived in the Kingdom on Monday.
