
Saudi Arabia registered on Friday a record number of coronavirus cases at 762 in the past 24 hours.
Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali said the new cases were detected in various provinces of the Kingdom. They were reported at foreign worker housing areas and in overcrowded districts.
The newest figures take Saudi Arabia’s total virus count to 7,142, including 6,006 active cases and 74 patients in intensive case.
Fifty-nine patients have recovered, raising the total to 1,049. The Kingdom reported four new fatalities, raising the tally to 87.
