Saudi Arabia Records 673 New COVID-19 Cases

Saudi Arabia said Sunday that it recorded 673 new coronavirus cases and seven COVID-19 related deaths.

The latest deaths brought the total number of fatalities to 6,697, while the new cases increased the number of people who have contracted the disease in the Kingdom to 392,682.

Of the total number of cases, 6,169 remain active and 782 in critical condition, said the Saudi Health Ministry.

The highest number of infections was recorded in the capital Riyadh with 319 cases, followed by Makkah with 127 and the Eastern Province with 96. Madinah recorded 26 cases and Hail had 19 confirmed infections, the ministry added.
