Saudi Arabia Records 3,383 New Cases

Saudi Arabia has a total of 197,608 cases of the coronavirus after 3,383 more people tested positive, the Health Ministry said Thursday.

Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali said the capital Riyadh registered the highest number of cases with 397, followed by Al-Hafouf with 277, and then Makkah with 271.

There were 54 new coronavirus related deaths, he said, raising the toll to 1,752.

The spokesman said that 4,909 people had recovered from the COVID-19 disease, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 137,669.
