A forum organized by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers on Wednesday saw the signing of a package of economic agreements by the private sector in the two countries.
The two sides discussed means to enhance commercial and investment cooperation and the possibility of establishing alliances and partnerships between companies, with the aim to achieve economic and commercial integration between the two Gulf States.
In this regard, Qatar’s Al-Athbi Group signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Hamad Shuwayer Real Estate Investment Group.
The agreement was signed by Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Athbi Group, and Majid Al-Gharbi on behalf of the Shuwayer Group.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Al Dolaimi Oil Well Equipment Company signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Saudi Oil Industry Supplies & Services Co.
In the tourism and hospitality sector, the Saudi Al Rajhi Group signed four cooperation agreements with Qatari hotels: Souq Waqif Hotels, Al Rayyan Hotel, Banana Island Hotel, and Dusit International Hotels.
