Saudi Arabia Pays $40 Million to Palestinian Authority Budget

Saudi Arabia’s permanent delegation to the Arab League announced that the Kingdom has payed its part of the Palestinian Authority budget for February and March of this year.

The Saudi Fund for Development transferred USD40 million to the account of the Palestinian finance ministry, said the delegation.

This amount is the Saudi monthly contribution to support the budget of the Palestinian authority, with USD20 million divided equally between each month.

According to a statement by the Saudi embassy in Egypt, the Kingdom’s permanent delegation affirmed that it will continue to support the Palestinian cause on all levels, political, economic and humanitarian.
