Saudi Arabia, Nigeria Address Boosting Relations, Coordination

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari received in Abuja on Tuesday Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan for talks on bolstering bilateral relations in all fields.

They tackled consolidating coordination and joint work on all levels for the interests of their brotherly countries and peoples.

Prince Faisal conveyed to Buhari the greetings of the Saudi leadership as they addressed the Kingdom’s regional and international efforts to preserve the planet as demonstrated in Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s declaration of the Saudi Green and Middle East Green initiatives.

The initiatives will steer the Kingdom and region’s efforts in protecting the environment in line with international goals.

The officials also covered the productive cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Nigeria in light of the OPEC+ agreement and their contributions in achieving stability in the global energy markets.

Prince Faisal also held talks with his Nigeria counterpart Geoffrey Onyeama on bilateral relations and ways to expand them further. They tackled regional and international developments of interest and ways to strengthen cooperation in resolving crises and conflicts in Africa with the aim of supporting international security and peace.
