Saudi Arabia: Lowest Number of Virus Cases Since April

Saudi Arabia recorded 323 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the lowest number of daily infections since April.

Of the new cases, 64 were announced in Madinah, 27 in Riyadh, 21 in Hufof, 17 in Hail, 13 in Jazan, eight in Dammam and eight in Makkah, the Health Ministry said.

The new cases brought the Kingdom’s total to 339,267, it said.

The total number of recoveries increased to 325,330 after 593 more patients recovered from the COVID-19 disease, the ministry stated.

The death toll rose to 5,043 with 25 new fatalities announced by the ministry.
