
Abdulhadi al-Mansouri, head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, signed in Jeddah on Monday an air transport services deal with Senegal.
Senegal was represented at the signing ceremony by Minister of Tourism and Air Transport, Alioune Sarr.
The agreement has many regulatory provisions guaranteeing, among other things, air safety and aviation security.
The Authority aims to boost air transport based on the latest global standards.
It seeks to consolidate Saudi Arabia globally as an influential party in the international civil aviation industry, achieve economic growth and sustainability, implement aviation safety procedures and regulations and build a system of modern airports with advanced services.
