An official source at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the Kingdom's participation in the signing ceremony of the Khartoum Agreement on Saturday within the framework of the support it has received from Saudi Arabia.

The source added that Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Member al-Jubeir will head the Kingdom's delegation to attend the agreement’s signing ceremony, accompanied by Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed Qattan and Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali Jaafar.

The source stressed that the Kingdom hopes the Khartoum Agreement would contribute to a new phase of stability through which the country can recover from its current crisis, allowing the different sides to manage their affairs in a way that meets the aspirations of the people.
