
The Royal Commission in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City signed an agreement on Thursday to allocate a 3 million square meters industrial land, for more than 15 billion riyals (USD4 billion) in investments in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City, located on the Arabian Gulf in the east of the Kingdom.
The Royal Commission in Ras al-Khair noted that the agreement provides for the establishment and operation of an industrial complex for the production of iron sheets used in the automobile and ship industries.
Emphasizing that the project was the first of its kind in the Middle East, the Commission said that the agreement comes within the framework of its endeavor to promote and attract investments, and will provide more than 1,600 direct jobs and 8,000 indirect work opportunities.
