
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the Kingdom was following with concern the developments in Erbil in wake of the “terrorist” attacks that targeted its international airport.
It expressed its strong condemnation of the “cowardly” attacks that “threaten the security and stability of Iraq and the region.”
It added that such attacks threaten aviation and undermine efforts exerted by the international coalition help Iraq fight terrorism.
The Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s “vehement rejection” of attacks aimed at threatening Iraq’s security and unity.
It voiced its solidarity with Iraq and all measures it takes to preserve its security and combat terrorist organizations that are seeking to undermine its sovereignty and stability.
