Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday terrorist attacks that struck the Afghan capital Kabul and the Borno region in Nigeria.

An official source at the Foreign Ministry said the Kingdom offers its condolences to the governments and people of Afghanistan and Nigeria.

He reiterated Riyadh’s firm stance against terrorism in all of its shapes and purposes.

Twenty people were killed and at least 50 wounded on Sunday in a suicide attack on the Kabul office of Amrullah Saleh, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s running mate in September elections.

At least 65 people died Sunday in an attack by suspected a suspected extremist group returning from a funeral in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno region, one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in recent years.
