Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Monday Israeli violation in Palestinian territories, including attacks against unarmed civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Addressing the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel said that the Kingdom “firmly condemned the aggression at the hands of the Israeli forces.
“It called on the international community to bring an end to decades of violence against the Palestinian people, which the forces of occupation continued to carry out in full impunity.”
Saudi Arabia also urges all countries to live up to their responsibilities to guarantee human rights worldwide, he added.
Furthermore, Wasel condemned the excessive use of force against unarmed civilians in Gaza, where as of the end of 2018 has seen 183 Palestinian killed and thousands wounded, including women and children, at the hands of Israeli forces.
