The Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of the attack carried out by the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militias against the al-Anad air base.
Over a hundred people were killed and wounded in Sunday’s attack at the base in Yemen’s Lahj province.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that the Kingdom stands by Yemen, reiterating its call to prevent the Houthis from receiving weapons.
It underscored Riyadh’s firm stance in supporting the brotherly Yemeni people and legitimate government and efforts to reach a comprehensive solution to the crisis.
