Saudi Arabia Announces 5,499 New COVID Cases

Data released by the ministry showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 599,044. SPA

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on Thursday 5,499 new COVID-19 cases and 2,978 recoveries in the Kingdom.

The ministry added that the number of critical cases reached 262.

Data released by the ministry showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 599,044, while the recovery tally stood at 555,035.

The ministry reported two new deaths, bringing the number of fatalities in Saudi Arabia to 8,901.
