Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday that it recorded 1,084 new COVID-19 infections and 12 deaths.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 507,374 after 1,285 more patients recovered from the disease, the Health Ministry said.
A total of 8,249 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19, it said.
Over 26.9 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
