The Saudi Embassy in Colombo on Tuesday advised all Saudi nationals to leave Sri Lanka for security reasons.
A day earlier, the mission informed Saudis about the measures taken by the authorities in Sri Lanka, including checking identities and banning face coverings under its new emergency law taking effect on Monday.
The emergency law was imposed after the deadly April 21 suicide bombings.
