Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with his Mauritanian counterpart Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed in Riyadh on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a way that serves the common interests of both states, the foreign ministry said.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
