Saudi Air Defenses Detect 2 Houthi Missiles Fired towards Najran

Saudi air defenses detected on Friday two ballistic missiles that were fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards Najran.

Launched from Yemen’s Saada, one rocket crashed inside Yemeni territories, while the other crashed in an uninhabited desert region in the Kingdom.

No damage was reported from the incident.

Saudi-led Arab coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki accused the Houthis of deliberately firing the rockets towards populated areas in Najran.

This hostile act demonstrates the Iranian regime’s ongoing involvement in supporting the Houthis with weapons in clear and blatant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions 2216 and 2231, he stressed.
