Police are working to trace people involved in a fight on Glasgow 's Sauchiehall Street this evening.
The incident happened close to the Argos and Marks & Spencers stores at around 5:15pm, though the suspects made off.
The area was taped off as officers guarded the scene but has now re-opened.
One eyewitness described seeing a male being struck with a glass bottle.
@LJonesLGBTYS wrote: "Nothing like stoatin along Sauchiehall Street to see a ned get his head split with a buckie bottle."
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police attended the scene around 5.15pm following reports of a disturbance.
"An area has been taped off and officers are working to trace those involved."
