Saturday's winning Powerball numbers

While it's a bit anti-climactic just four days removed from the $1.54 billion Mega Millions drawing, Saturday's Powerball jackpot is a not too shabby $750 million.

Saturday's winning numbers are 8, 12, 13, 19, 27, and Powerball 4.

To emerge victorious, the ticket must match the five Powerball numbers _ ranging from one to 69 _ and the Powerball, which is one to 26.

The odds of winning are one in 292,201,338 _ just slightly better than Mega Millions' chances, which are one in 302,575,350. Powerball still holds the record for largest U.S. lottery jackpot at $1.586 billion back on Jan. 13, 2016. That billion-dollar-plus booty was shared by three winning parties.

Powerball is offered in 44 states. Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada and Utah are the only six that don't offer it.

On Oct. 23, one Mega Millions ticket sold in South Carolina matched the winning numbers.
