The quote

"I think nobody in this room wants to be an up-and-down team or an average team or a team that strives for making it to the playoffs and then get out. We have a lot of talent." -- Bulls center Pau Gasol

Injury update

Kirk Hinrich missed his fifth consecutive game with a toe injury. The veteran recently had an injection to help the healing process.

"He feels better after the injection but he's still a little bit sore," Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said. Mike Dunleavy remains sidelined after having back surgery Sept. 25.
