Performance Live: Winged Bull in the Elephant Case
10.40pm, BBC Two
When the second world war broke out, the National Gallery’s art collection was evacuated to Snowdonia. This performance piece reimagines the journey of the paintings, represented in human form. The elements range from classical to grime, ballet to the spoken word of Isaiah Hull. Its components are excellent – the music, venturing into immersive ambient techno, and the dancing of Bonetics among others. Whether it coheres is another matter, but do decide for yourself.
