Saturday Night Takeaway: Who is guest announcer Rob Delaney?

Tonight's episode of Saturday Night Takeaway will see Rob Delaney as guest announcer.

The American star is a familiar face to comedy lovers and will introduce Ant & Dec's silly antics as Davina McCall and Tom Jones also appear on the show.

There will also be a new installment from this year's special mini-series, Double Trouble, which sees Ant and Dec being cloned and the clones have gone rogue.

Let's find out more about this week's Star Guest Announcer.

Who is Rob Delaney?

Best known for his series Catastrophe, which he co-wrote with Sharon Horgan, Delaney starred as Rob Norris opposite Horgan, who have a baby after a one-night-stand.

Rob Delaney's moving story about son's death

Rob appeared on CBEEBIES Bed Time Stories and was the first host to tell a story in Makaton. His experience with the language came from his relationship with son Henry. In 2018 Henry died aged two-and-a-half from a brain tumour that was first diagnosed in 2016.
