It's only right given that its two hosts are proud Geordies and Saturday Night Takeaway is after Newcastle families for its new series.
After a year's break Ant & Dec are set to bring back Takeaway in the new year, but before then producers are on the hunt for people to star on the hit ITV show.
Earlier this year they issued a rallying call for people to nominate relatives or friends who were the 'life and soul of the party' for a special on-screen surprise and just this week they asked for people
Well now it's Geordie families who are wanted to step into the spotlight as the award-winning show makes its return.
A post on Saturday Night Takeaway's Facebook page on Friday read "Do you know a family in Newcastle that deserves a real treat? Have they overcome a big challenge and used their experience to help others, or do great work in their community? Whatever the reason, nominate a special family for a HUGE surprise!"

The closing date for applications is April 4 2020 and you must be 18 and over to put someone forward.
