Saturday Night Takeaway guest 'outraged' as family miss out on holiday despite correct answer

Actor Rob Delaney was left outraged during his appearance on tonight's Saturday Night Takeaway as a family missed out on a holiday - despite him giving the correct answer.

The TV star, 44, appeared on the ITV show as the guest announcer, but ended up taking part in a game to win some of the virtual families money or a holiday.

Each of the family had to mime out the titles of various films, which Rob had to guess. If he was able to guess three correctly, the family would win a holiday.

First up was the Compton family from Somerset, who were over the moon at being able to potentially win some money or time on the beach.

Rob was quickly able guess the first movie was Ghostbusters, which meant that they won £250.

But he was left struggling with the next movie, which involved a baby doll and a watermelon, which he ended up passing on.

Next, they tried on a snowman outfit and thew fake snow in the air, which Rob was quickly able to guess was Frozen and saw them win £500.

Yet Rob struggled with the next as the mum and dad ate spaghetti on a plate.

He had struggled to see what the food was that he was eating, believing that it was pie. When Ant and Dec explained what the food was, Rob shouted that it was Lady and the Tramp.

"Too late," Ant and Dec said, but Rob continued to shout out the right answer.

"If I keep saying it, you get the holiday," Rob announced. "You get the holiday, it's official!"

"We're just out of time," Dec announced, however.

"I said Lady and the Tramp very loudly," Rob pointed out. "Even though it was a second late."

Oh dear...
