Saturday Night Takeaway Guest Announcer for this week is a Gavin and Stacey star

Things are set to be very 'tidy' in the Saturday Night Takeaway studio this weekend and I'll tell you for why....a Gavin and Stacey star will be the Star Guest Announcer for episode two of the new series.

Following on from Havana singer Camilla Cabello taking the reins of the hit ITV show as it returned last week, a much loved character from the popular BBC comedy will be trusted with the job this week.

And the person who will tell Ant and Dec and millions of viewers 'what's occurin' on Saturday, February 29 is none other than Uncle Bryn himself, Rob Brydon.

Saturday Night Takeaway announced the news on their social media channels on Thursday night to a big reaction. They posted: "We've got a cracking show this week and we’ll tell you for why… @RobBrydon is our Guest Announcer! "

Fans reacted in their droves on Twitter. One tweeted: "It’s gonna be another Saturday night to remember yay," and another commented: "Yeah it's gonna be a amazing show. actually like every show. Can't WAIIIIIT to see."

And referring to THAT family excursion on Gavin & Stacey, another fan cheekily responded: "Uncle Bryn. So what happened on the fishing trip!?"

The End of the Show Show performer for this Saturday has been confirmed as Alarm and Ciao Adios singer Anne-Marie, who follows in the foosteps of the Pussycat Dolls, who entertained everyone last week alongside Ant & Dec for a hilarious routine, which also sparked complaints to Ofcom.

Saturday Night Takeaway is on ITV at 7pm on February 29.
