Boxer Tony Bellew calls Ant Middleton a "f*****g c***" and nearly punches him in the next episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The former sportsman is pushed to breaking point by the trainer and flies off the handle in a terrifying meltdown.
It is sparked during a particularly gruelling task in which fellow stars Lauren Steadman and Nikki Sanderson are ordered to carry the hefty former fighter.
It leads to a fiery standoff between Tony and Ant, and the boxer later admits he came close to punching him.
Tony eventually calms down and apologises for losing his temper, admitting he often struggles with anger issues.
He puts it down to his turbulent private life and the death of his brother-in-law Ashley, who died during a trip to Mexico in 2017 when he was just 33.
Tony says: "I can’t deal with my past. My missus’ brother went to Mexico for his friend’s wedding and he didn’t come home. He was found at the bottom of a balcony, dead....
"I am a bit of a maniac. I have it within me. It’s only a matter of time before it erupts.”
He adds that heights are triggering for him as they remind him of Ashley's death.
Tony adds: "Every time I look down from a height I just think about him. There’s nothing I can do. He was a nice kid, a nice boy. I can’t deal with it.
"I honestly think it’s only a matter of time before I implode."
