Sarah Silverman's talk show 'I Love You, America' canceled by Hulu

Sarah Silverman's talk show has come to an end.

Hulu canceled the comedian's weekly late-night program "I Love You, America" after one season, Silverman announced Wednesday.

"We're all pretty damn heartbroken," Silverman wrote on Twitter.

She went on to retweet on a number of people who shared supportive messages and fond memories of the show.

The series, which premiered in 2017 and ran for 21 episodes, featured Silverman discussing hot-button topics and interviewing different guests each week, in addition to an opening monologue during every show.

The lone season was split between the fall of 2017 and the summer and fall of 2018. Among the guests who appeared on the show were Al Franken, Bernie Sanders, Roxane Gay and Patton Oswalt.

The series is co-owned Silverman and Funny or Die, the entertainment company founded in part by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

"We are so proud of 'I Love You, America' and congratulate Sarah, the producers and the entire team for engaging thoughtful conversation and showcasing such diverse points of view every week," a rep for Funny or Die said in a statement obtained by the Daily News.

Following Hulu's cancellation, Silverman and Funny or Die will explore the possibility of moving the show to another network or streaming service, Variety reported.
