Sarah Robles could give US its best chance in weightlifting at Rio Olympics

Sarah Robles couldn't get it done at her first Olympic Games.

Arguably the United States' top women's weightlifter, Robles finished seventh in the 14-woman 75-plus kg field at the 2012 Olympic Games with a score of 265 (120 kg snatch, 145 kg clean and jerk), a far cry from the world-record-setting performance from China's Zhou Lou (333; 146 kg snatch, 187 kg clean and jerk).

With four more years of experience and something to prove after a shaky U.S. Olympic Trials, Robles looks to be the United States' best chance to medal in the sport for the first time since 2000.

Robles still faces an uphill battle, but she will be looking to turn heads as she fights for a podium finish.
