Sarah Jessica Parker has retuned to work on the set of the Sex and the City revival under a week after the death of her friend and co-star Willie Garson.
The two-time Emmy winner returned to filming for And Just Like That on Monday and began shooting scenes in a dress shop in Manhattan's SoHo neighbourhood.
The 56-year-old was spotted wearing a mauve coat, striped skirt and brimmed hat. For a second scene, the star switched into bright purple fish-net stockings and a plaid dress, which had a belt to cinch it at the waist.
Sarah was joined on set by Homeland alum Sarita Choudhury, who has taken up the role of a new character called Seema Patel.
Sarah's appearance comes just three days after the actress broke her silence following Willie's death.
The actor died on September 21 at the age of 57 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Sarah had originally commented on co-star Chris Noth's Instagram tribute to send say she wasn't ready to release her tribute.
She later found the right words to say, taking to her own page to tell her 7.1 million followers: "It's been unbearable. Sometimes silence is a statement.
"Of the gravity. The anguish. The magnitude of the loss of a 30 + year friendship. A real friendship that allowed for secrets, adventure, a shared professional family, truth, concerts, road trips, meals, late night phone calls, a mutual devotion to parenthood and all the heartaches and joy that accompany, triumphs, disappointments, fear, rage and years spent on sets (most especially Carrie's apartment) and laughing late into the night as both Stanford and Carrie and Willie and SJ.
"Willie. I will miss everything about you. And replay our last moments together. I will re-read every text from your final days and put to pen our last calls."
She continued: "Your absence a crater that I will fill with blessing of these memories and all the ones that are still in recesses yet to surface.
"My love and deepest sympathies and condolences to you dear Nathen. You were and are the light of Willie's life and his greatest achievement was being your Papa."
She ended her heartfelt message by saying: "These were his last words to me. "Great bangles all around." Yes. Godspeed Willie Garson. RIP. X, SJ"
The death of Willie came just a few days after Sarah's business partner George D Malkemus III died.
His also died after a battle with cancer and he passed away at the age of 67 on September 16.
