Sarah Glenn handed first England call-up for tour of Pakistan

Sarah Glenn has been called up for the first time by England for December’s tour against Pakistan.

The 20-year-old leg-spinner earned her place after impressing in last season’s Kia Super League for Loughborough Lightning. Mady Villiers, 21, who made her England debut this summer against Australia, retains her place.

The team will play three ODIs, the first at the Kinrara Oval on December 9, followed by three T20s on the tour, which is being held in Malaysia.

Captain Heather Knight said: "We're looking forward to getting out there and getting back to international cricket.

"It's been a few months since our last game and there's been a fair bit of change in that time so this tour is an opportunity to start a new era and move forward.

"There's a few younger faces in the group but also a lot of proven talent. I'm really happy with the group and we can't wait for the next few months."
