People in Glasgow are being encouraged to light a candle in memory of Sarah Everard this weekend.
A number of vigils highlighting women's safety on the streets have been organised in cities across the UK tomorrow (Saturday, March 13).
In line with the current covid restrictions, event organisers in Glasgow are asking people to stay at home to show solidarity, by lighting a candle from their doorstep or window and tweeting with the hashtag #ReclaimTheseStreets.
It's understood the original event in Clapham Common will be live streamed onto the Facebook event page.
The Facebook event page reads: “We believe that streets should be safe for women, regardless of what you wear, where you live or what time of day or night it is. We shouldn’t have to wear bright colours when we walk home and clutch our keys in our fists to feel safe.”

"Heartbreakingly the story of Sarah Everard has shown us that no matter how much we do to protect ourselves, we are not safe. Women are not the ones who need to change.
"In line with the current Covid-19 restrictions in Glasgow, this vigil is from your own home. Show solidarity by lighting a candle in your window, or on your doorstep and/or tweet #ReclaimTheseStreets.
"This is a vigil for Sarah, but also for all women who feel unsafe, who go missing from our streets and who face violence every day."
Similar events have been organised in Edinburgh, with locals set to gather at the Scottish Parliament building and St Andrew's Square at 6pm.
Organisers have asked that no one from outside the Edinburgh area travel to the city to take part in line with Scottish Government restrictions.
Those who attend the vigils have been asked to maintain social distancing and wear masks at all times.
Ms Everard was last seen on 3 March in Clapham, South London, on her way home from a friend's house.
A serving Metropolitan police officer was detained in connection with her disappearance before being arrested on suspicion of murder.
Human remains - which are yet to be formally identified - have since been discovered within woods in the Ashford area of Kent near the home of the suspect.
