Sara Khan's ex-husband Ali Merchant had told us just a few days ago, in a video interview, that he had no issues in going for the 'Lock Upp' show as a contestant despite Sara being around.
We had categorically asked; What if you're called for 'Lock Upp'?
Ali had replied: "I would love to be a part of such a show. Back then, I had no such wrong that I deserved such a raw deal that I was distanced from my acting work which I was good at (Ali claimed that he started getting controversial and fluffy roles after his marriage to Sara Khan in 'Bigg Boss 4'). I am ready, even if Sara or anybody for that matter is out there." See the full interview below:
We are not surprised that Ali is going for it. FYI, Ali had recently met Sara at a party. According to Ali, the meeting was far from healthy or even cordial. Ali had said, "We bumped into each other at a party. I greeted her. But she made a very weird face. I came back to my manager and left it at that."
Continuing to tell us about that, Ali mentioned, "Suddenly I saw a group of boys near her trying to intimidate me. I went up to them and said 'Don't do any drama. I don't want to do anything that rattles you'. I surely couldn't get intimidated by them; I perform live in front of 10K to 20K people."
By the way, Ali had also said in that interview that his second marriage with Aman (an investment banker) is over and their divorce has come through. There was lots in that interview about Sara, Aman and other aspects of Ali's life. Click on the video above to see it if you still haven't.
