Canoeists take in the autumn scenery on the upper reaches of the Toyohira River in the hot spring district of Jozankei in Sapporo. The autumn foliage is the most vivid it has been in recent years, according to the Jozankei Tourist Association, which said the colorful vistas will remain through the middle of next week.
