Sapphire Battersea by Jacqueline Wilson - review

Jacqueline Wilson, Sapphire Battersea (Hetty Feather)

Sapphire Battersea is a book written by Jacqueline Wilson. Sapphire lives in a children's hospital where she was found when she was a baby.

Sapphire then finds her mum and everything seems like a dream. Suddenly a nurse finds out and Sapphire is forced to let her mother go knowing she will probably never see her again. When she gets older, she finds a job as a servant to a writer.

I like this gripping tale because you never know what's around the corner for Sapphire Battersea. The characters in this book are perfect and the storyline is compelling, making me want to read more and more! The way Jacqueline Wilson describes Sapphire and the way she lives made me want to cry!

Overall this fantastic book is one of my favourite books and you need to read it!
