PRAYAGRAJ: In a surprising move, a youth Congress leader has put up an interesting poster on his social media accounts after witnessing that entry of leaders of other political parties in Samajwadi Party (SP) has been restricted.
Through the poster, he invited leaders of various political parties to join Congress to make AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra strong in the upcoming assembly polls. The poster uploaded on social media by Prayagraj Congress committee general secretary, Irshad Ulla, has gone viral.
Commenting on houseful scenario in Samajwadi Party, Irshad Ulla’s poster reads ‘SAPA me house full’ (The entry of leaders in Samajwadi Party has been restricted) along with photos of three Congress leaders.
The Congress leader, who has been in news for his numerous posters, has also written that ‘SAPA me house full, jab koi tumse mooh pher le, aur wo chunav me ticket bhi na de, tab tum mere pass aana guru, mera ghar khula khula hi rahega tumhare liyee’ (When leaders avoid your entry, and even deny tickets to you, then you should come to me and my house will remain open forever).
Explaining the poster, Irshad Ulla told TOI that leaders from various political parties who have joined Samajwadi Party in recent times, have not got the due respect.
“We appeal to such leaders who want to save the country, society and state from going into wrong hands. They should join the leadership of AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra,” he added.
Giving the examples of Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan and ex-Congress leader Imran Masood who could not be successful in their endeavour to get alliance and ticket from Samajwadi Party respectively, Ullah said “It was only Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has given tickets to ground level workers and claimed that only Congress is fighting for the rights of common man.”
Without taking any name of political leaders from rival camps, Irshad said “Only Congress party could do better in the state and for its people. The day is not far when people of the state would acknowledge this fact and will support congress.”
However, taking a jibe on the Congress leader’s poster, senior BJP leader and co-convener (media) Ashish Gupta said “BJP is the biggest party of workers and we are working for our goal of sabka sath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas.”
Gupta further added “People of the state are well aware about those leaders who recently quit the BJP and joined SP and they had to face dishonour from the supporters and workers of Samajwadi Party on their entry into SP fold.”
