Gingham doesn’t exactly scream Hollywood glam, but Saoirse Ronan owned the trend for the 11th Annual Governors Awards gala last week.
The 25-year-old stepped out in the black and white design by Kate Middleton’s favorite designer Emilia Wickstead.
The outfit’s flared trousers and arms were complemented with a cinched waist.
And Co Wicklow star Saoirse had her honey blonde hair pulled back into a sleak ponytail, with a bold pinkish red lip to complete the look.
The glittering gala was hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.
It wasn’t short of A-listers and black and white had a starring role on the carpet as Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger and Dakjota Johnson sported variations on a theme.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez added a pop of colour in a gold sleeveless gown.
The star-studded bash took place just a few days after Saoirse attended the screening of her latest film Little Women with co-stars Emma Watson, Meryl Streep and Florence Pugh.
The movie, based on the classic book Little Women, will be in Irish cinemas on December 27.
